Aaron Lal, Trevor Giordano and Nymere Whitaker are just a few key players the Steinert Spartans will get back this season.

The team looks promising, with multiple different players with years of varsity experience, Trevor Giordano in particular, who is a four-year varsity starting point guard. In spite of Steinert’s sub-par 10-16 record last year, they look only for a strong season ahead of them this year. Year after year, the Spartans continue to progress as a team and this year looks no different.

A player who is expected for a breakout season for the Spartans is junior forward, Aaron Lal. He has stardom written all over him; with an over six foot frame and a strong build, Lal looks to potentially lead the team in scoring and rebounding this season. He’ll be accompanied by returning starters, Giordano and Whitaker.

The Spartans this year are projected for an above .500 record and if all the pieces click, they could accomplish big things, ultimately aiming at a playoff run.

Steinert will open up their season at home against the Ewing Blue Devils on December 20th!
