After completing their historic 2017-2018 state championship run, the seeds of a winning culture are already planted into Nottingham’s class of 2021.
Although the Northstars finished with a 9-16 record last season, they look to bring back multiple experienced players. After a strong off-season, those players look to carry the momentum for potentially another chance at a state title.
Junior guard Brandon Raba, son of legendary head coach Chris Raba, alongside junior Josh Morrison and senior Javon Jenkins all look to take more captivating roles as leaders of the team. All three players scored over 200 points last season and look only to increase scoring averages this year.
Aside from the Northstars big three, they will be backed by multiple key role players in junior guards Chris Williams and Kishawn Douragh as well as, upcoming sophomore big man, Arterio Williams.
The Northstars will continue to play their aggressive defense and look to speed up their opponents. They make a strong case to finish strongly in the Mercer County Tournament.
They’ll open their season at home against Robbinsville on December 20th right here on the WBCB Sports Network.
