Though the Hornets of Hamilton West finished the season with a disappointing 6-15 record last season, they are looking to majorly improve this upcoming season. With newly hired head coach Brandon Johnson, the Hornets look to change their playing style for the better.

While Coach Johnson has yet to serve as a varsity head coach, he was under the wing of the legendary Nottingham coach, Chris Raba, for seven years. Johnson looks to bring that 2017-2018 state championship toughness over to Hamilton West and change the culture to winning ways.

West will return their leading scorer, Jack Boufford, who has proven to be able to score in bunches, eclipsing 20 points or more four times last season as a sophomore. Boufford scored over 286 points last year and looks to be the leader of this young team, making him a potential All-CVC player this season.

The Hornets will travel to Hopewell Valley to begin their season this year on December 20th!
