The WBCB Sunshine Foundation Slam Dunk & 3-Point contest is a mere three days away.

As the anticipation builds, those most closely connected with CVC basketball have weighed in with their predictions.

Girls 3-Point Contest Champion Predictions:

Greg Jonhson, Trentonian

Pick: Ryan Weise, Allentown.

“She’s the all-time leading scorer at Allentown and has performed in the clutch many times throughout her career.”

Sean Miller, NJ.com 

Pick: Ryan Weise, Allentown.

“Ryan can shoot well. She gets it done over Aromando.”

CVC Updates

Pick: Fiona Aromando, Robbinsville.

“Her shot is a big reason she scored her 1,000th point this season.”

Pick: Natalie Mehl.

“As a Steinert grad, I’d be ostracized from society for not picking a Steinert player. Plus, she’s really good!”

Boys 3-Point Contest Champion Predictions:

“Richie was far and away the best 3-point shooter in the area this winter,” Johnson said.  “He finished third in the entire state with 104 made 3s.”

The event takes place at  Trenton Catholic Academy with all proceeds going towards the Mercer County Sunshine Foundation Dreamlift program. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. Admittance is $5.
