Lawrenceville, NJ — After a disappointing end to an otherwise successful season, the Notre Dame Irish are back and could be more dangerous than ever.

The Irish will be led by the duo of Cortaz and Coleon Williams.  The two brothers, both linebacker and running backs, have already made a name for themselves in the CVC.  They will be looking to pick up the slack offensively with the departures of both QB Robbie Buecker (West Point), and TE/DE Tristan Tritt (Lafayette). Junior quarterback Jake Renda, a transfer from Princeton, will also be responsible for much of the Notre Dame offense this season.

Jake Renda, has been turning heads so far at training camp for the Irish.  Not only with his physical abilities, but also as a vocal leader. WBCB reporter Ben Medland spoke with Renda about his goals for the upcoming season.

We spoke to Cortaz Williams about his goals for his senior year, and what the change of head coach could mean for the Irish.

Even with the losses of two star players (Buecker and Tritt), newly appointed head coach Sean Clancy is excited for the upcoming season.  This will be Clancy’s eighth year with the Irish, but his first year at the helm.
