After a mediocre 2016 campaign, the Pennsbury Falcons are poised for a breakout 2017 season. It’s year number two under head coach Dan McShane, and his players will be more accustomed to his system and schemes.
Long time Bucks County broadcaster Vince Reed believes year number two under McShane will make all the difference.
“Pennsbury should be better this year…. Last year they had a new coach and a brand new system,” Reed explained. “This year they should have the new system under their belts. They’ve been in this system once, it will ultimately come down to how they perform on the field.”
From a comfortability standpoint, Michael Gobora will be one of the many players benefiting from a second year in McShane’s system.
Key Returning Offensive Starters: QB Zach Demarchis, RB Nasan Robbins, OT Matt Russo.
Key Returning Defensive Starters: DL Michael Gabora, DB Gary Minnes, DL Nika Wright.
Most Impactful Roster Loss: LB Ryan Harrah.
“He was the heart of the team,” said head coach Dan McShane.
2017 Player To Watch: DL Michael Gabora.
“Mike Gabora is the best football player on this team,” said McShane.
2017 Player That May Surprise People: WR Austin Palmer.
“He’s a kid who grew in the system last year, as we evolve you’re going to hear his name a lot more,” explained McShane.
