Video Engineer

Description

The Video Engineer will be responsible for managing the broadcast on site during games. This will include updating the on-screen graphics, handling in-game advertisements, and troubleshooting when necessary. The Video Engineer will make sure all of the elements of the broadcast are smoothly pieced together while working with announcers and camera person as well as the location’s staff.

Requirements

Candidates must be able to work in a team environment and have reliable transportation. Nights and weekends will be required.  Preferred Qualification: Experience in an online multimedia environment; preferably sports-oriented.

On-Air Commentator

Description

On-Air Commentators will provide a verbal image and analysis of the action on the field as well as reading live commercials during sporting events. In preparation for games, the commentator will be responsible for researching the team by using resources on the internet or in the newspapers, and contacting the coaches.

Requirements

Candidates must be able to work in a team environment. Night and weekend availability will be required. On-air experience preferred. Samples of on-air work will be required with application.

Digital Content Intern

Description

The Digital Content Intern will work with the Sports department to create content to be posted on the WBCB Sports social media pages. This content includes pictures and videos from games and athletic events in Bucks and Mercer Counties.

Candidates must be able to work in a team environment. Night and weekend availability will be required. Reliable transportation will be needed.

Digital Content Intern

Description

The Sports Journalism Intern will work with the Sports department to write articles to be posted on the WBCB Sports webpage. These articles will be about the games, players, and teams of local high schools in Bucks and Mercer Counties.

Candidates must be able to work in a team environment. Night and weekend availability will be required. Reliable transportation will be needed.
